Vision and Perception

Computer vision allows AISight to see what a camera sees. AISight takes any visual input and then analyzes the images frame by frame. With its perception engine, AISight uses machine intelligence to emulate the functions of the human brain. First, the software identifies objects and then classifies them, and then it tracks them frame by frame. AISight also improves the detection of the objects. It reduces distortions, shadows and glare, and improves resolution, which gives better clarity and recognition of objects than is currently available with existing software.

An object is any human, animal, or inanimate object that moves in the environment being watched.

Adaptive Learning

It is in the area of adaptive learning that AISight is most unique and differentiated from any other existing security technology. Through adaptive learning, AISight recognizes and anticipates behavior based on knowledge acquired over time. Behaviors are not pre-defined and hard-coded as they are in other technology. Instead, AISight rapidly learns what is normal for any environment and identifies and predicts abnormal, suspicious or aggressive behavior based on what it has learned. Upon recognizing such behavior, AISight generates real-time alerts to a human operator who can take immediate action.

The more history AISight has of a particular environment, the better informed its alerts become. By using these techniques, adaptive-learning software significantly reduces false positives and so greatly improves security.
